Our Mission

We are a local dance collective committed to creating space for adult artists to collaborate, choreograph, and perform in a professional setting. Founded in 2022 by Clare Kresse and Lilly Comstock, Lou.Co.Lab was built on the belief that meaningful opportunities for performers should continue well into adulthood. At Lou.Co.Lab, we believe being an artist shouldn’t mean sacrificing everything else. The path to creative expression doesn’t have to be all or nothing. That’s why we create space for dancers to continue making meaningful work while also pursuing careers, families, and other passions. Art should be a lifelong pursuit—accessible, flexible, and deeply rooted in real life.

We are passionate about bringing affordable, accessible concert dance to the Louisville community—producing performances that provoke thought, stir emotion, and inspire creative exploration. Through bold, intentional work, Lou.Co.Lab empowers both artists and audiences to connect, reflect, and celebrate the power of live performance.

Join us as we reimagine what dance can be—collaborative, impactful, and rooted in community.
